Your contributions support digital sovereignty, open-source sustainability, and subsidized access for non-profits and micro-enterprises who cannot afford even at-cost infrastructure.
Traditional grant programs give away software licenses — per-seat donations that scale linearly with every new beneficiary. This model is different.
Our stack relies on self-hosted open-core, so your support goes to fixed infrastructure and engineering — compute, storage, bandwidth — rather than recurring license bills. Doubling the number of beneficiaries does not double the cost.
The second multiplier is operational: by supporting only immutable ChromeOS endpoints, a single engineer manages thousands of devices without the manual oversight overhead that consumes most IT budgets.
Sustainable Open Source: A portion of every management fee and every donation is directed back to the open-source projects our stack depends on — Wazuh, Odoo, NixOS, VictoriaLogs, and others. We invest in the tools that power the mission.
Enterprise licenses for self-hosted platforms, cloud credits, or in-kind software grants. We work with ChromeOS, Cloudflare, GitHub, and Tailscale grant programs.
Example: Google for Nonprofits, Project Galileo, GitHub Social Impact
Direct funding for colocation, bandwidth, storage, and the engineering labor to operate the central stack. Every dollar is traceable to infrastructure deployed.
Example: Foundation grants, corporate giving programs
Refurbished laptops, Chromebooks, networking equipment, or servers. ChromeOS Flex can resurrect hardware that would otherwise be e-waste.
Example: Corporate IT refresh cycles, server equipment
If you work with small businesses that need IT support, refer them to us. We handle the infrastructure; you focus on your mission.
| Grant Type | What It Funds | Impact (per $10,000) |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud / colo credit | Compute, storage, bandwidth for central stack | Serves ~50 businesses for one year |
| Hardware grant | Refurbished Chromebooks + networking | Equips ~40 endpoints |
| Software in-kind | Enterprise tiers for open-core platforms | Unlocks advanced features for all tenants |
| Engineering grant | Part-time ops engineer | Manages full stack for 100+ businesses |
These vendor grant programs directly support our technology stack.
Chromebook grants and Chrome Enterprise management. Covers endpoint hardware and device management. Google Workspace for email and collaboration is paid directly by each client business (~$7/user/mo) — not funded by this grant.
Enterprise plan for non-profits through Project Galileo. DDoS protection, CDN, WAF, and DNS for all served businesses behind a single account.
GitHub Enterprise for non-profits through GitHub Social Impact. Covers code hosting, CI/CD, and project management for the infrastructure team.
Business plan for qualified organizations through Tailscale for Non-Profits. Covers mesh VPN infrastructure for central management.
Whether you represent a foundation, a corporate giving program, or a vendor with a grant program — we can show you exactly how your contribution translates to infrastructure deployed.
